Yes. I’m still here even though I am now without a couple of wisdom teeth. Geh, that surgery is brutal! On top of it all, I’m still swamped with writing so for now my posts will be whenever I can get to them. I’ll leave you with some very wise words above…ones I surely need to practice myself. Whenever I get the lame notion to complain, I tell myself there are people out there with way less, who are way happier. It’s the turn-around thought I need to clamp it and be thankful because what it boils right down to is we are all really so blessed! xxDree

Get Outside!
It’s been too long since I have had the chance to blog and I’m sorry! I’m still in the midst of writing some pieces for Refinery29.com as well as being a full-time Mommy. The latter of the two is the part that takes me outdoors, usually in the form of a great park my son and I can run around in. It’s that time of year to really soak up the sun and great weather and we’re completely taking advantage of that. How about you? Are you making sure to get outside?

The Instagram Diaries
Anyone else using Instagram as a creative outlet or for a blogging add-on? It’s somewhat like Facebook but with visual updates and if you love taking photos, Instagram (and Picfx as an editor) are all you need to start. Oh, and an Iphone although I heard Droid is finally catching up. Did I say it’s highly addicting? Beware.
